Dr Julian C. Levin, MD, MPH is a Graduate of The Citadel and MUSC School of Medicine, and University of Texas, San Antonio, School of Public Health. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB in 1984, and residency in Aerospace/Occupational Medicine at Brooks AFB, Texas in 1999. Additionally, Dr. Levin is board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Levin retired from The USAF Medical Corps after a 24 year career, including a variety of clinical and administrative positions, in the US and abroad. Dr. Levin is a veteran of both Iraq wars, and a number of operational contingencies. Dr Levin attained the Chief Flight Surgeon rating with the Air Force, logging over 1000 hours in a variety of aircraft. Dr. Levin is owner of Levin Aeromedical Consulting, is a FAA Senior Medical Examiner. Dr Levin has left the positions as a contract physician in the Flight Medicine Clinic, Charleston AFB, SC. He is now working part time at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Acute Care and Occupational Medicine Clinic. Dr. Levin was born and raised in Beaufort, SC.
Note that Dr. Levin does not work at the Daniel Island or Beaufort office except during appointments for FAA Physicals. He is office sharing at these locations.
